Shout Out – RememberTheMilk

Logo for Remember The MilkI want to give a shout out to RememberTheMilk because of how much stress they take out of my life. RememberTheMilk is a “to-do list” of sorts. The difference is that you can schedule recurring tasks. For me, I use this a mainly for paying bills. There are bills that I have monthly, yearly, and even try-yearly. Because I am so busy with work and school, the last thing that I want to try to think of is whether I paid my bill or not. So, I make a list for my bills specifically and set the recurring due date a few days before when it is due. Once I have paid it, I check it off. It’s as simple as that! This also works for car maintenance, school projects, anniversaries, and anything else that you have a hard time remembering.

You may be concerned about having to log into the website every day if you are not much of an internet user. One of the benefits that they offer is that they have a mobile site (see below for a QR code to scan with your phone). They also have apps for the iPhone and Android devices. If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7, they also have a gadget that can go right on your desktop. It has worked really well for me.

So, check it out and let me know what you think.

Nathan Bramsen's Profile PictureI ask that you take a moment and check out the blog of a friend of Hannah’s. Hannah grew up with the Bramsen family while living in Senegal. Nathan Bramsen is one of the kids who she grew up with that has allowed God’s work in his life. Right now he is working with kids in Egypt. The evidence of God’s working is clear in his blog posts. I hope that you will be encouraged by his posts as I have been.
