Sometimes I think I should pick up smoking. Let’s face it – when you go outside for a smoke you can enjoy the beauty of His creation, strike up a conversation with neighbors, be still and meditate on Him, and (best of all) intake the wonderful aroma of the outdoors…oh wait!

What is a Christian? I prefer to use the term “believer” to refer to those who believe in the salvation found in Christ alone. I think this article is clear proof why. Many refer to themselves as “Christians” but do not believe in God, let alone Christ. How can they be a “little Christ” when they have no idea who He is?

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”  – John 14:6

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”  – Matthew 7:21-23
